Team Group Supreme U100 64GB USB flash drive

Let's get the ball rolling with a look at both the 64GB Supreme drive itself, as well as the packaging in which it ships.

Team Group's mammoth flash drive comes packaged in the kind of typical heat-sealed plastic shell which we're used to seeing with such drives - The kind of packaging which usually leads to cuts, tears and swear words aplenty unless you're particularly adept with a pair of scissors.  Which I have to say I seem to have become after opening up so many of these.  Aside from that 64GB capacity, Windows ReadyBoost support is also promised by this particular drive.

The rear of the box talks about the different capacities available in this range of drives (from 8GB to 64GB incidentally, so we're taking a look at the highest capacity unit here), the dimensions of the drive itself, and a promise that it should be capable of retaining data for as long as ten years.  Needless to say, it also sports a USB 2.0 interface with support for any modern Operating System.

Releasing our drive from its packaging,we find ourselves with a reasonably small flash drive that is very businesslike in its appearance - No gimmicks and flashing data or power lights here, just a simple branded USB flash drive to plug into your system of choice.

Needless to say, this refined simplicity is retained as we look at the other side of the drive.

If, like me, you've ever wasted time on your hands and knees or rifling through pockets looking for a lost USB flash drive cap, then you'll be please to see that the Supreme 64GB instead features a cap which stays connected to the body of the drive at all times, meaning that you'll never misplace or lose it.  The downside of this is that the mechanism can get in the way when you're looking to plug the unit into a system whose USB ports are all packed to the rafters, but that's the price of convenience I suppose.  All in all though, I find myself rather liking the design of this particular drive.
