Now we've slipped off the system's side panel, let's take a look over the components that reside within our Cryo Quad system.

A peek inside our Cryo Quad build reveals a very clean layout without any tangles of cables or the like and with plenty of room for air flow. This is in part thanks to the basic nature of the system build (i.e. core components without added and potentially unnecessary frills), but it's always nice to see a cleanly built system land on our desk.

650 Watts might not sound like a lot for a performance PC with a hefty video card, but it should in fact be more than enough for this particular system's needs out of the box - We'll be talking power consumption properly later though.

BFG is on hand to provide the system's dual GT200 GeForce GTX 295 - Much like both the CPU and memory, both GPUs on the card are overclocked, with this particular configuration sporting a core clock speed of 685MHz, a shader clock of 1475MHz and a memory clock of 1150MHz. We might be missing the bells and whistles of DirectX 11 and the like, but we certainly have plenty of graphics rendering horsepower at our disposal here.

We've already seen the level of overclock available to the Quad's memory, and with the lid off we can see that it's a pair of 2GB Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 modules that enable those clock speeds.

Corsair's H50 CPU water cooling system has gained plenty of plaudits for offering easy to use and low-cost effective water cooling for anyone who wants it, and its inclusion here is certain welcome. The only downside to Corsair's system is that it pulls air in through the rear of the chassis rather than out through it - This therefore dumps more warm air into the case, although the Lian Li's top mounted power supply probably does its part in pulling that warm air back out of the chassis as soon as possible.

Finally, a Terabyte of storage is provided via one of Samsung's F3 range of drives, complete with 7,200 RPM platter rotation speed and 32MB of cache. Put simply, it's about as fast as a single, traditional hard drive can get.
