CoolIT Domino A.L.C. water cooling system review
While water cooling has been the natural progression for hardcore enthusiasts looking to move away to something quieter and/or more effective than air cooling, there can be little doubt that setting up your own water cooling system has traditionally been an activity fraught with worry and hassles, with concerns about the dreaded leakage underpinning the entire process. Quite simply, it's enough to put off all but the most dedicated of users from upgrading to such a system.
Over the years, a handful of companies have recognised this issue by attempting to provide water cooling systems that ease the difficulties normally associated with such an upgrade, but many of these have still suffered in overall terms of their ease of use or performance. Enter the subject of today's review - The CoolIT Domino A.L.C. (or Advanced Liquid Cooling). This water cooling system for CPUs promises both the quiet running and performance associated with water cooling, but with the ease of installation normally seen with air cooling solutions. With support for a full range of both AMD and Intel socket types, it also comes prepared for whatever processor you may wish to pair it with.
So, can the Domino mark a new dawn for water coolers that even the average user would dare to install? In this review we take a look, to see how CoolIT's solution handles our Core i7 test system.
