Elite Bastards of the Year Awards 2008

So, here we are once again, it's New Year's Eve and yet another year has flown past with hardly a moment for us to take stock of what's happened over the past 12 months.  Despite the current economic crisis that's making the front pages day after day after day, there certainly seems to be no sign of the computer hardware and gaming industries slowing down their rate of progress, and even over this festive period I've been busily working away on reviews for new products launching just after the New Year.

However, no matter how busy this year has been for Elite Bastards even over these past few weeks, we can't let 2008 slip away without its staff dishing out our usual dose of praise and irritation in equal measure, picking out our highlights and lowlights for the twelve months just gone before laying ourselves prostrate before you, at which point you can barrage us with abuse for our stupid and nonsensical decisions.  That is, after all, how the Internet works.

So, before you go out and make a fool of yourself at some New Year's party, why not take a few minutes to peruse our picks for the annual Elite Bastards of the Year Awards.  You don't even need to wear a tuxedo for this awards ceremony.  Hell, you don't even need to wear pants if I'm honest.
