Sapphire Radeon HD 4830 512MB video card review

After running with our initial Radeon HD 4830 review last week, it appears that the God of computer hardware most certainly wasn't smiling down upon us, as we ended up falling victim to an issue with some samples not having the correct number of SIMD cores enabled in the BIOS.

Thank goodness then for Sapphire, who also provided us with a Radeon HD 4830 board just before the launch (although sadly not quite soon enough for us to run with it on launch day), which also proved itself to have the correct number of SIMD cores (eight, not seven) enabled in its BIOS (as indeed all Sapphire boards based on this SKU should from the information we have).

We were already impressed by the performance of our "kinda" Radeon HD 4830 up against a GeForce 9800 GT last week, so what can the real deal do this time around, and what does Sapphire's particular take on this SKU have to offer compared to the HIS board we've already examined?  Join us as we take a look.
