Cooler Master Silent Pro M600 power supply review

We've taken a look at Cooler Master power supplies in the past, and found them to be pretty solid without ever ascending into the spectacular.  However, the recent launch of the company's Silent Pro series of PSUs potentially offers up some interesting features to anyone in the market for a new power supply right now.

Although these units aren't launching with any stratospheric Wattages available to them, the choice of 500, 600 and 700 Watt units should cover the gamut of all but the most high-end enthusiast users at present, and besides mere power outputs these parts also promise to offer a modular power supply with some rather well thought-out cabling, near silent running, and excellent efficiency at delivering power while minimising the amount wasted through excess heat and the like.

If that sounds like a good blend of features to you then read on, as we put the 600 Watt Cooler Master Silent Pro unit through its paces.
