ASUS EN9800GX2 video card review
We've already looked at NVIDIA's current high-end flagship graphics board in isolation, in both single board and a Quad SLI configuration, but on the cusp of the company's next-generation graphics launch we've revisited the GeForce 9800 GX2, courtesy of ASUS' reference clocked EN9800GX2 board.
However, rather than simply taking a look at this SKU on its own, this time around we'll be examining how much of a performance advantage it offers over NVIDIA's current top of the range single GPU offerings, the GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB and GeForce 9800 GTX. In essence, the question we're asking today is - What does the GeForce 9800 GX2 offer, and is it worth an additional £150 or so over a graphics board sporting only a single G92 GPU?
So, with the purpose of this review set, let's take a look at the EN9800GX2 in the 'flesh'.
