Noctua NF-P12 cooling fan review
It was almost exactly a year ago that we last took a look at some of Noctua's cooling fans in the form of their NF-R8 and NF-S12 parts - And very impressed we were too. While many companies are more interested in kitting their fans out with myriad LEDs and the like, Noctua's focus was on good old-fashioned quality engineering over and above aesthetics.
Today, we revisit Noctua's range of fans with a look at the latest product in their list of 120mm fan offerings, the NF-P12. This takes the basis of what made the NF-S12 what it was before adding in an intriguing design together with an increase in default fan rotation speed and two, rather than one, low-noise adapters to reduce that speed and thus the noise level of the fan.
Just what are the design changes introduced with the NF-P12, and do they improve the product to the extent hoped for by Noctua? Let's take this opportunity to find out.
