XFX nForce 790i Ultra SLI motherboard review
When we took a look at the performance of two GeForce 9800 GX2 boards in a Quad SLI configuration recently, the motherboard that we made use of alongside those two XFX-powered graphics boards was also courtesy of XFX, and their nForce 790i Ultra SLI part. Having taken a look at two ASUS Republic of Gamers nForce 790i motherboards in recent times, we also snapped up this opportunity to see how XFX's own offering, which follows NVIDIA's reference design for the chipset to the letter, fares.
With support for SLI, DDR3, and boatloads of overclocking potential, there's a lot to interest the enthusiast, so can it live up to expectations? Let's take a look.
