XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB Alpha Dog XXX Edition review
The last time we looked at a graphics board from XFX using the 'Alpha Dog' name we were really mightily impressed, with the company's GeForce 8800 GT Alpha Dog XXX part blowing away an equivalent reference clocked part performance-wise, to the point where it found itself not far off GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB frame rate territory.
Ironically, today we take a look at the GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB Alpha Dog XXX Edition from XFX, to see if it can follow in the illustrious footsteps of its older, smaller brother. Never mind the insanely long product name, just what can this board offer over the reference GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB? Let's skip straight to the good part and take a look.
