Cooler Master Hyper TX2 CPU cooler review

By this point in time, I'm going to take it as read that my hatred for Intel's unwieldy, inefficient and simply downright awful stock cooler is well known.  With that in mind, I'm always more than happy to take a look at any alternative LGA775 supporting cooler to see what it has to offer.

Which brings us to today's review and a rather beefy-looking yet very low-priced part with support for both Socket LGA775 and AMD's own socket AM2 courtesy of Cooler Master, the Hyper TX2.  But is it worth the additional outlay for anyone currently using Intel's stock cooler?  Let's investigate.
