Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal paste review
When it comes to keeping your system cooling, it's easy to forget about the little things. Of course, the actual physical hardware (CPU coolers, case fans, chassis design and the like) are all hugely important, but in the case of processor cooling, what of the material that assists with bonding the CPU cooler to the processor itself to allow for the quick and efficient removal of heat? Many coolers come complete with a tube of cheap, generic thermal paste, which does the job reasonably, so is there really any need to shell out on something more exotic?
Well, that's exactly what we're here to find out, for today we'll be taking a look at one of Arctic Cooling's latest products, in the form of their MX-2 thermal compound. Just how much does it offer over some standard no-name paste? Let's find out.
