Elite Bastards at Channel Expo 2007

While it's hardly CeBIT or the like, Channel Expo (or, to go by its former name, the Computer Trade Show) is still the UK's biggest IT-related event, bringing resellers and hardware manufacturers from around the country and beyond to Birmingham's NEC to show their wares.  Indeed, if age is a measure of success for any trade show, then the fact that this year's event is Channel Expo's tenth anniversary speaks volumes.

Sadly, despite it being the show's tenth anniversary, there wasn't any birthday cake, magicians or goodie bags to be found - Oh well, I suppose you can't have everything.

This year's event was rather more low-key than even last year's offering, using one of the NEC's smaller halls, and with less truly exciting items on show for the hardware enthusiasts (such as myself) among us.  Having said that though, there were still some interesting items to be found around the show floor, so join me as I take you through the most noteworthy stands and items on display at this years event.
